Appeal

Christmas

"Over the past
five years 1644
hampers have
been distributed
to local families."

Is your business, school, club
or organisation looking for a
way to help the local community
this Christmas?

The Centre would like to give you the opportunity to support the work of our volunteers by helping us raise funds for the annual Frankston Community Appeal.

This Appeal is about helping people with real needs in our neighbourhood. Each year, approximately 350 festive hampers are distributed to local families who have been professionally assessed as suffering extreme financial hardship.

The Centre, which co-ordinates this Appeal, works in conjunction with other local emergency relief agencies to stretch limited resources and provide assistance to more families. By working together, with one point for distribution, there is fairer allocation of hampers and it enables other local organisations to concentrate on providing different festive activities like free Christmas breakfast and lunch to disadvantaged residents.
