The shed is for
retired blokes,
blokes with
mental health issues, socially isolated
blokes and blokes
who are looking
to have contact
with other blokes.

 

Information

The Frankston Men's Shed is located just near the Frankston Hospital bus shelter on the Frankston-Flinders Road (AKA Hastings Rd). The age group for the shed is 18 years to 100 years. The concept is on positive mental health and wellbeing.

The shed has:

  • Woodworking

  • Gardening

  • Arts and Crafts

  • Men's Community Kitchen

  • Developing Basic Computer Skills and

  • Mental health and wellbeing groups.

The Men's Shed is for men of all ages who are:

- socially isolated,
- suffering from depression,
- recently retired,
- unemployed, or
- have drug and alcohol issues.

Hours of Operation

Monday to Thursday
9:30am to 2:30pm

MEN'S SOCIAL GROUP 1:00pm to 3:00pm every Monday afternoon (by referral).

Please contact the coordinator first as, sometimes, there can be a waiting list. A number of volunteers assist in running the program.
